Do workers need a smartphone?
No, and that is the whole point. The floor menu runs over USSD, which works on any handset that can make a call. No app, no data bundle.
What does a USSD session cost?
You pay Africa's Talking directly. A session is a fraction of a shilling, and typically the plant covers it rather than the worker.
Can I try it before paying?
Set up a plant and use it. Add a couple of materials and one worker number, and the Pulse starts reading real records within the hour.
Is my data mixed with other plants?
No. Every query is scoped to your plant at the database layer, and Enterprise can run an entirely separate instance.
What if the internet goes down?
The USSD side keeps working, because it rides the mobile network rather than broadband. The dashboard needs a connection; the floor does not.
Can I get my data out?
Every table exports to CSV from the Reports screen, at any time, without asking us.
